She loves to use her god given coaching and consulting gifts to help ministry leaders go above and beyond and reach their full potential.

Prior to coming on to Ministry Ventures, Melodie spent the last two years serving at the National Christian Foundation South Florida as the Director of Ministry Services, and prior to NCFSF, 16 years on staff at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale.

She has been involved with HIS Caring Place, a crisis pregnancy ministry, serving three years as a house parent, and has been an active volunteer for the past 15 plus years. Cindy McDaniel

Ministry Coach

Cindy’s heart’s desire is to develop ministry leaders who dream big and achieve even more than they imagine. Her gifts of encouragement and mercy make her a natural coach, especially in the world of pregnancy resource centers. This is where she ministered for 22 years, first as a volunteer, then a staff counselor, and then over 19 years as executive director. She walked the road of guiding a small PRC from mission drift and financial struggle to being an effective, healthy, innovative center, which continually found new ways to bring God’s truth and love to each unique client situation. She is convinced that God’s heart is to equip the often-under-valued PRCs to be the thriving, eternal impact ministries that their communities need them to be.

Michael Johnson

Coach and Regional Consultant

Michael Johnson gets fired up about connecting with every type of person. In particular, he loves to connect with ministry leaders, learning their stories and equipping them to make a greater impact for Christ. His 21+ years in ministry, business, and education have prepared him to do just that.

Early in life, Michael’s parents instilled in him dual passions for God’s Word and travel. After high school, he attended Capernwray, a Bible school in England. Following that formative year, Michael immensely enjoyed a month long trip to Israel, and regularly revisits those memories with his children. After seeing the world, Michael “buckled down” and completed his Bachelor’s degree in education from Minnesota State University-Mankato. Even better than a degree, it was here Michael met and married the love of his life, Nancy. As partners for the gospel in the truest sense of the word, they heard God’s call to enter full-time ministry. God used a small group Bible study, hours of prayer, and the wise counsel of many Godly servants, positioning them to cast vision for two Community Bible Study classes and a Youth for Christ chapter in their small Minnesota community. For 12 years, Michael served as Executive Director of Martin County Youth for Christ. During that time he pioneered a thriving ministry, aided by a strong focus on Board Development, Ministry Model, and Fundraising. He launched an innovative year-end capital campaign that is still in use today. The work that God continues to do in that community gives Michael and his family great joy.

As of July 2013, Michael and his family call Colorado Springs their home. Michael and his family attend Woodmen Valley Chapel and are privileged to serve on the National Team for Community Bible Study (as volunteers). Each Tuesday evening, Michael can be found leading a college-aged core group for a Colorado Springs Community Bible Study class. He enjoys reading, hiking and exploring the great state of Colorado with his family. Even with a lifetime of ministry to kids of all kinds, he still considers being called Dad the highest of callings. Danica, Andrew, Josiah and Lauren Johnson make that calling a reality.
